§ 2-6. Compensation and benefits of mayor.

  • (a)

    Salary. The salary of the mayor of the city, shall be and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of forty-eight thousand dollars ($48,000.00) per year.

    (b)

    Automobile. The mayor shall be furnished an automobile for use in connection with his official duties.

    (c)

    Retirement. The mayor shall be entitled to all retirement benefits for which he is eligible, if so enacted by the state. The city shall pay contributions owed to the retirement system in accordance with state law and in accordance with city personnel policies and procedures.

    (d)

    Health insurance. The mayor may be included in the city group health insurance plan, and that cost shall be paid by the city.
