§ 19-22. Streets prohibited to trucks to be designated and marked.

The city council shall determine which streets within the city shall be designated as streets upon which truck travel is prohibited. When a street in the city has been so designated by the city council, it shall direct and authorize the chief of police to cause to be erected and maintained suitable signs giving notice that trucks are prohibited on streets so designated and marked.
